A new executive committee takes office
Six members elected to serve from 2026, with Engr. Francis Okafor as president and a committee drawn from four institutions across Shenzhen.
Members voted in March to elect the association's fourth executive committee. Engr. Francis Okafor takes over as president from Dr. Toluwanimi Akiyemi, who led the association from 2023.
The incoming committee is drawn from Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen University, CUHK-Shenzhen and the Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, alongside members working in industry.
The outgoing executives join the Hall of Fame, where every past committee since the association's founding is recorded.
