The peninsula. Good beaches and an old walled town, but almost no reason to live out there.
Dapeng is the green peninsula in the far southeast, with the best coastline in Shenzhen, a Ming dynasty walled town, and hills you can actually walk in.
There is no metro. Getting there means a bus or a car and most of a morning.
Treat it as a weekend trip rather than a place to look for a flat.
Who lives here
Almost nobody lives out here. Go for a weekend instead.
