The far east, where the factories are and the rent is the lowest in the city.
Pingshan is manufacturing: vehicles, batteries and biotechnology, plus the housing that goes with it. Line 14 shortened the journey to Futian considerably when it opened.
It is the cheapest place in Shenzhen to rent a decent flat, and a long way from everyone you will meet in your first month.
