Dameisha and Xiaomeisha
大梅沙 / 小梅沙
The city beaches. Warm sea and soft sand, shared with a great many other people.
Dameisha is free and busy; Xiaomeisha is ticketed and slightly calmer. Both are a real beach on a real sea, forty-five minutes from the centre.
Go on a weekday if you can. On a summer weekend the sand disappears under people and the buses back are long.
