Lianhuashan Park
莲花山公园
A small hill in the middle of the city, with the best free view of the skyline.
Twenty minutes of gentle climbing gets you to the top, where the whole civic centre and the Ping An tower line up in front of you. There are kite flyers on the summit most evenings.
The park below is where Shenzhen goes to dance, exercise and generally be a city rather than a business district.
