Guangming is the city's science district, still being built. Laboratories, institutes and housing are all going up at once, with construction sites in between.
Rent is low and the flats are new, which is an unusual combination in this city. It is genuinely far from the centre and the social life is thin.
It makes sense if your laboratory is here, and for another few years it will not make much sense if it is not.
